Golden Shower from Heaven

Love lost and love no where to be found.  How many times have we felt as if angels were pissing on our happy selfie parade; as if somehow we missed that business class plane to paradise because we overslept through our destiny.

One Mindf*ck Away from Eternal Bliss

So we sulk in this golden shower of seemingly epic proportions as our rainbow umbrella is turned inside out by the Santa Ana’s which blow us to and fro on our way to class or work.

We then step into a pile of crap left behind by some careless dog walker as we spill our Starbucks all over our only clean shirt.

Divine Profanic Symphony

We can throw up our hands, curse the Universe and all things sacred or deal with the divine profanity of it all and shout at the top of our lungs; “f*ck it, life is still awesomely and profanely beautiful and nothing’s gonna stop me now…no hurricane, tornado, gale force winds, or sinkhole will prevent me from reaching my destination on the way to delayed destiny.”

The Universe wants you to know:

Embrace the challenge head-on and let nothing (between heaven and hell; the sacred and the profane) stop me from believing in the dream.

For you are a Destiny Warrior.

As a proud graduate of California State University, Chico with an earned BA degree in International Relations, Master of Arts degree in Public Policy, and a past study abroad participant at the University of Tuebingen, education has always been up front and center in both our family and my professional career. My blogging project is an eclectic work in progress and intended to increase global awareness through selections and stories of my studies and travels. As future global citizens we can seek first to understand one another through word pictures and engage our collective creative intellects to change our community; one blog at a time.
