Where you at, you attract…
Where you at in life now depends on where you came. Not out of circumstances but out of choices. You chose to finish school, get that degree, apply that knowledge to a job not needing that degree, relocating to a city away from the place of your youth or your college.
Where you at, you become…
If you are outside that inner circle looking at life pass you by or surrounded by four walls or a closet for a home away from home then take action to change your present direction in life.
Where you at, you create…
You’ve got to know when to fold them, and when to hold them.
You don’t have to sell everything you own, become celibate, or born again to find the meaning for life or to save yourself from practical complacency. TM
Using our college motto from the Wildcat days; Carpe Diem and if you don’t know what that means or don’t give a damn I’ll paraphrase it-F*ck It and Just Do it anyways. You don’t have to skydive naked from an airplane or cliff dive into the deep blue but as Dr. Feelgood would say, (Motley Crue and Bon Jovi merged into that unforgettable ‘one night stand’ -that song to which we passionately made love to…Its my life, I’m not going to live forever.
In the inbetween it’s in these moments where we lose all physical control, become emotionally-unhinged and find our inner most truest and purest desires in the process.
Where you at, you decide to GOYA and not SOYA…
All you must do is get off your ass, not sitting on it with red solo cup in hand while Duke scores another win.
If that means a road trip and packing everything you ever owned into your car then moving cross country-so be it. If it means a one way ticket to paradise then explore the world with just a backpack and eyes wide open to apply that International Relations degree you achieved.
Whaever you do, do it with passion and a kick-ass attitude as you DIVE into the lagoon of your dreams.
