Engaged to Act

Listen more with the intent to understand the differences and common ground between ourselves and others.  Seek to understand the great cultural, social, and religious divide which prevent us from shared engagement and mutually-beneficial response to reasoned debate and compromise.

Speak with the intent; not to overpower or outspeak, rather to state your worldview and/or belief on the topic or concern on hand.  Then to provide an opportunity for inclusion rather than exclusion.  Winning in any relationship; professional or personal, must create bridges of understanding and awareness of each others needs, desires, and priorities.  Building walls along the borders of our hearts prevents the migration of love to travel from our soul to the outer reaches of our sphere of influence.
